Canadian-born Vincenzo Carnovale has had a distinguished and successful career as an entrepreneur, businessman, and venture capitalist for 26 years. He began his career in finance and economics, a successful run that led to his work in venture capital. 

Carnovale later entered the world of venture capitalism, where he invested in and financed various private real estate projects in Canada, the United States, and internationally. He also invested in and financed gold mines, a charcoal plant, oil and gas, and a private medical center in Europe.

Venture capital (VC) involves investing in early-stage, high-growth prospective firms and providing finance and strategic guidance to help these businesses scale and prospect. In exchange, venture capitalists receive an ownership stake or equity in the company. The money provided as an investment in companies and projects involves extensive and rigorous due diligence and strategic business guidance.

Once the startup or project has passed the due diligence stage, Carnovale will negotiate the investment terms. This includes determining the amount of capital to be invested, the equity share to be acquired, and any other transaction terms or conditions.

Carnovale goes beyond simply investing in a project or company. He also actively helps manage the company’s portfolio. He has served on the boards of several of the companies he’s invested in, offering strategic guidance, mentorship, and access to their network of contacts.
